Becca Parker was my guide and I am so grateful to have crossed paths with her. I have been struggling with depression and PTSD, and have never tried anything like this, but was so very tired of the struggle. She spent a significant amount of time prepping me, meeting with me several times prior to and suggested several books for me to read, as well as helped me establish a plan for sleeping better, as she has been a nurse practitioner. I had a psilocybin-assisted treatment at SATYA with Deb Halpern as my facilitator, and my experience was excellent from start to finish. From our first Zoom conversation after speaking with the owner, I felt confident in Deb’s professionalism. Her background as an attorney and school teacher stood out immediately, but more importantly, she brought a calm intelligence and clarity to the entire process. We had several preparation sessions before I traveled from California to Ashland, where she explained each step of the process, including preparation, the journey itself, and integration afterward. Everything was structured, transparent, and grounded. When I arrived, Deb was warm, steady, and attentive. I felt well cared for from the moment she picked me up at my hotel through the psilocybin journey and into the days that followed. The integration support afterward was especially valuable. She helped me make sense of the shifts I experienced and translate them into practical changes in my daily life. This experience had a deeper impact on me than decades of therapy, journaling, yoga, meditation, and self-help practices. Those tools helped me prepare and integrate, but this work created a level of clarity and internal shift I had not reached before. My earliest childhood memories are full of carefree love and adoration for my family and surroundings, a life that was quickly extinguished by the tragic death of my older brother when I was four years old. That loss imprinted itself deep in my body and mind, and for the last 15 years of my adulthood I’ve been committed to healing: therapeutic retreats, DBT, EMDR, pharmaceuticals, somatic therapies, nutrition, exercise, and faith-based practices. Each offered some relief from depression, anxiety, and mood disorders, but none reached the core. I discovered Satya Therapeutics through a friend who said, “If I did psilocybin therapy in Oregon, I’d go to Ashland—that town has the vibe.” I reached out and was connected to Bern. From our first conversation, his compassionate presence immediately put me at ease. Within a week, I was on a flight from Texas to Oregon. The chronic weight I carried for decades has lifted, and I’m living with greater peace, authenticity, and grounded energy. Mike said it would be a life changing experience and he delivered. They made a safe place for me to explore my life and really think about my past actions and current life. I had the pleasure of undergoing Psilocybin treatment at Satya and Deb was my Facilitator. I went in after doing due diligence, so I was impressed by the professionalism at Satya. Andreas is detail-oriented and the facility is clean and welcoming. Deb was very helpful in setting expectations, and during the course of the treatment itself. She provides a very calm and non-judgmental interaction which is very helpful. I went in hopeful, but unsure of exactly what the outcome would be. Almost 3 months later, I must say that I feel like things are clearer, the funk, the clouds in the mind have gone, and I am more my better self. Good luck to everyone who pursues this avenue. Thank you to Andreas and team for providing this excellent service. I had a really meaningful experience at Satya Therapeutics. The space felt professional and safe, but also relaxed and open in a way that let me settle in and go where I needed to on my own journey. Deb is incredibly genuine and open making her easy to connect with, while also bringing experience, thoughtfulness, and care into her work.
