Why Facilitator Fit Matters
Experience Matters
Skilled facilitation helps clients navigate fear, emotional breakthroughs, and challenging experiences safely. Satya facilitators have thousands of hours helping navigate difficult client experiences.
Different Styles Work for Different People
Some clients prefer a structured therapeutic approach while others seek a more intuitive or spiritually oriented experience. It is very important to find a facilitator you feel comfortable with. Talking to more than one person is always valuable when making a choice.
Preparation and Integration Shape Outcomes
Meaningful change depends not only on the journey itself, but how the experience is prepared for and integrated afterward. We find that work and effort in preparation tends to result in better outcomes.

Andreas Met — Licensed Psilocybin Facilitator & Co-Founder of Satya Therapeutics — $1,250 All-Inclusive
I helped start Satya because I believe psilocybin can be an incredibly powerful tool for change when it is used thoughtfully, safely, and with the right support.
My own relationship with psychedelics goes back roughly 40 years. I've seen enough over that time to have a great deal of respect for what these medicines can do—and enough to know that they aren't magic and they don't do the work for you.
My job as a facilitator isn't to tell you what your experience means. It's to create a safe environment where you can have your own experience and discover what it means to you.
My background
I've had a fairly unconventional life. I've built businesses, had successes and failures, raised a family, changed directions more than once, and learned a great deal about what happens when life doesn't go according to plan.
I've now supported hundreds of people through legal psilocybin experiences in Oregon. That experience has made me a strong believer in preparation. You can't guarantee an easy experience, but careful preparation can build trust, identify potential problems, establish realistic expectations, and reduce the likelihood that a difficult experience becomes a crisis.
That has also become an important part of my work with other facilitators. I've provided continuing-education seminars on crisis mitigation, with an emphasis on both responding to difficult situations and preventing them through better preparation.
I'm currently developing a facilitator training program in Colorado built around real-world experience, extensive case studies, and role-playing difficult situations. I believe facilitators need more than theory. They need opportunities to practice thinking clearly and responding appropriately when things don't go according to plan.
My approach
I'm calm, practical, and fairly non-directive. I'm not there to manufacture a particular experience or tell you what you should take from it.
I'll help you prepare carefully. I'll stay with you when things are easy and when they aren't. I'll intervene when your safety requires it. Otherwise, I try to give you the room to have your own experience.
You don't have to believe anything in particular for us to work together. If you're looking for someone who takes preparation seriously, remains calm when things become difficult, and respects your ability to find your own meaning in the experience, we may be a good fit.

Bern Haggard — $1,300 All-Inclusive
Hello. I have worked intentionally and extensively with Entheogens for over 25 years. During this time, I traveled to places such as Mongolia, Peru, Thailand, Mexico, Belize, and the the Amazon Jungle, where I participated in numerous and varied Hallucinogenic plant medicine circles and ceremonies. I intensely studied the different modalities and effects, or what I called “the download”. I learned about reverence and the importance of thorough journey preparation the hard way early on,. Then later, I realized the substantial benefits of consciously integrating these profound experiences into one’s life by recognizing and nurturing the healings, mental/emotional shifts, and expanded awareness that often occurs.
In addition, I also mentored closely for multiple seasons helping a Peruvian Curandera facilitate Ayahuasca group circles, which are usually all night long and quite intense. It was this very potent work that gave me the essential experience of what it takes to hold space for someone in a grounded and compassionate way while they go deep within the psychedelic subconscious realms of themself.
Of all the many Entheogens I know, I feel Psilocybin has the greatest overall potential for healing, and is my favorite by far. I became licensed at the beginning of Oregon’s program and have been facilitating full time consistently since August 2023. My intention is always for clients to have the most beneficial Session possible, and I’m grateful to have received many 5 star google reviews. Please feel free to visit the testimonials page on my website and to contact me directly. 541-613-0912 www.cybinservice.com

Deb Halpern — $900 All-Inclusive
I believe healing often begins when we feel safe enough to be fully seen and heard. My role as a facilitator is not to provide all the answers or direct your experience, but to walk alongside you with curiosity, compassion, and respect as you discover what your own experience may have to teach you.
My path to psilocybin facilitation has not been a straight one - and I consider that one of my greatest strengths. My professional life has included work in law, education, recovery coaching, and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy. Although these roles may seem very different, each has taught me something essential about being with people during times of vulnerability, uncertainty, and change: how to listen deeply, how to remain present without judgment, and how to recognize the strength and wisdom that can exist even when someone is struggling to see it in themselves.
My work has also been shaped by lived experience. I understand that meaningful change is rarely simple or linear, and I bring that understanding to my work with people navigating recovery, life transitions, grief, self-exploration, and the desire to live with greater authenticity and purpose.
I am certified in Heartwork Journaling and continue to deepen my education through the study of Internal Family Systems (IFS), including specialized training in the thoughtful use of IFS-informed practices in psilocybin preparation and integration. I also draw upon elements of Shadow Work inspired by the work of Carl Jung, particularly when helping clients approach parts of themselves that may have been hidden, rejected, or difficult to understand.
My approach to psilocybin facilitation is grounded in ethics, safety, preparation, and respect for each person's autonomy. I believe the medicine can open a door, but what happens before and after the journey can be just as important. I therefore place particular emphasis on thoughtful preparation and meaningful integration, helping clients explore how insights from their experience might become part of everyday life.
Above all, I want the people I work with to know that they do not have to arrive with everything figured out. You bring your history, your questions, your hopes, your fears, and your own inner wisdom. I bring experience, presence, curiosity, and compassion.
We meet there.
